Meet your Carhelper

Why I Do What I Do

I’m a 32-year-old automotive engineer with a deep love for cars—especially the part where numbers, machines, and people meet. I still remember buying my first car and wishing I had someone by my side who truly knew what to look for. That experience pushed me to develop a system of tools, methods, and checklists to help others avoid the traps I faced. My mission today is simple: to make buying a used car stress-free, transparent, and fair—for everyone.

From Passion to Profession

Before founding Carhelper, I worked as a certified car tester for the German TÜV. While I learned a lot, the conveyor-belt routine of cold inspections never sat right with me. I wanted to engage, explain, dig deeper. I love doing the actual work—checking under the hood, scanning control units, understanding the full picture of a car. I don’t just look for flaws—I look for value. Because when you understand the car in front of you, you can spot good deals and drive away with confidence.

What Makes It Worth It

I hate when sellers demand unfair prices or hide issues behind polish and words. That’s why I fight for fair deals and happy buyers. A great day for me is when someone drives home in a car they love and knows they paid the right price for it. Even better? When they call back to say thank you—or send a friend my way. That’s when I know I did more than check a car—I helped someone make a smart decision. That’s what fuels me.
